The weather is cooling down to sweater weather and that means putting the iced teas away and welcoming in some warming ones. Personally, I love fall, the crisp cooler weather and the delicious teas. DAVIDsTEA has a few collections coming out over the next few months. The Wellness Collection is already online to help with those back to school colds and pains but we don’t have long to wait for the next one. Starting on September 16th, the warm and spicy Chai Collection will be available.
The DAVIDsTEA Chai Collection includes a new tea and some fan faves including a few returning to the lineup for fall. If warm and spicy chai isn’t your thing, there is also a delicious looking matcha to try. You don’t have to wait long for more either, the Halloween collection will drop on September 30th and you do not want to miss that!
DAVIDsTEA David’s Chai (Fall 2019 Limited Edition) *NEW*
A new signature chai, David’s Chai is supposed to be the best of the best. Otherwise, why put your name on it? This warm and spicy classic has a bold black tea base, spiced with ginger, cardamom and anise. Despite being a signature tea with the name, this one is limited edition so stock up while you can. Priced at $8.98 for 50g, it is pretty affordable too and will likely make an amazing chai latte.
DAVIDSTEA Smores Chai (Fall 2019)
Looking for something a little sweeter? DAVIDsTEA Smores Chai is also part of the collection but is already available to enjoy while you wait for the rest of the collection to drop. Gooey toasted marshmallows, graham crackers and dark chocolate flavours round out this pu’erh based chai. Indulge that sweet tooth for only 5 calories per cup and $8.98 per 50g.
DAVIDSTEA Maple Chai (Fall 2019) *NEW*
What could be more Canadian than a maple tea? DAVIDsTEA Maple Chai blends rich black tea with spices and a sweet sprinkling of maple sugar. I have a feeling that this one will be amazing in lattes with the presweetening. I rarely add sweetener to my teas but sometimes a latte just needs it, right? No pricing on this one but I imagine most of the chai collection will disappear as new collections launch so pick it up soon.
DAVIDSTEA Pumpkin Chai (Fall 2019) *Returning*
Move over Starbucks PSL because this one you can make at home easily. DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Chai is back. Get your pumpkin chai latte fix with this sweet black tea, spiced with cinnamon, pumpkin candies and cloves. I’m a sucker for teas with the cute little candies in them.
DAVIDSTEA Organic Cinnamon Rooibos Chai
This one is a staple in the DAVIDsTEA lineup but officially part of the Chai Collection. DAVIDsTEA Organic Cinnamon Rooibos Chai is great if you want a caffeine free chai fix. Cinnamon is supposed to be great for concentration if you are looking for that perfect study tea.
DAVIDSTEA Pumpkin Pie Matcha (Fall 2019) *Returning*
The packaging may be different this year, but if you are into PSL Season, you won’t want to miss out on DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Pie Matcha. It is packed with all the green tea benefits of a matcha with natural pumpkin pie flavours to give you a healthier pumpkin latte. Only $8.98 for 50g, this matcha rounds out the Chai Collection for 2019.
DAVIDsTEA Chai Collection Discovery Kits
Not sure which one to try? DAVIDsTEA has two discovery kits to let you try out a bunch of chai options. These will launch on the 17th, so you may want to wait that extra day to shop. The DAVIDsTEA Chai Discovery Kit has five delicious chai blends that are guaranteed to make the perfect latte. Wile the DAVIDsTEA Chai Lovers Passion Kit lets you work through eight chai blends, from caffeine free to the energizing spicy black tea.
What is on your list to try? The Chai Collection is usually the one where they have amazing latte mugs. Two years ago, they brought back the double walled glass mugs with the chai collection (ending some hard feelings between my partner and I because he had broken mine some time before and I couldn’t replace it). While the mugs are still under wraps, I will be in line to check them out.

Oh I never tried the Pumpkin Pie Matcha, they only have the 80g bag for 16$ right now!
