Polish Pickup time already? This month is red carpet themed and Alter Ego chose a pretty silvery dress from a model at the Cannes film festival. Pewter Perfect is an antique silver base with grey microflakes.
My swatches show three coats on my middle fingers and two on my pointer/baby fingers. I think it does need the third coat for full opacity but it was much less noticeable in normal lighting than my camera shows.
Alter Ego Cuticle Oil Duo in At The Movies and Dressed For Success
With all of the sanitizer use, I have been going through more cuticle oil than usual (I even talked Cynthia into send me a full sized polish bottle full when she was out of brush pens). So the Indie Pickup option for the Red Carpet month is Dressed For Success and At The Movies.
At The Movies Cuticle Oil: Hot buttered popcorn in a movie theatre lobby. This smells just as described, very buttery and like the smell of the small cinema in my local mall.
Dressed For Success Cuticle Oil: White carnation, sandalwood, blood orange, smoky wood, black rose and patchouli mingle with notes of toasted vanilla, amber, vetiver and a kiss of Egyptian musk. This smells like back when perfume companies fragranced pages in magazines and there would be several competing scents in the same magazine. I pick up a lot more florals than musk or vanilla
These are available directly from Polish Pickup until Monday. Polish Pickup works on a preorder basis but you should have them by the holidays.
