The “prugly” colours in the upcoming Alter Ego collection may not be for everyone, but they do all look surprisingly nice on the nail. The kind of polish you wouldn’t pick up looking at the bottle but feel different seeing it on. The Proud To Be Me collection will debut at Indie Expo Canada on August 17th and be available online starting August 20th. The collection focuses on some lesser used colours and makes them unique with extra shimmers or flakies.
Alter Ego Happy I’m Not Like The Others is a mustard colour with green glitter. It is more sheer than the rest of the collection and I could still see some visible nail line under my lights, but less noticeable in normal lighting. All swatches shown with top coat.

What’s The Difference Between Being Myself & Happy I’m Not Like The Others?
Happy I’m Not Like The Others from Alter Ego’s Proud To Be Me collection is more yellow with a green glitter and a more sheer formula. While Being myself has a darker camel brown base with a silver-blue-brown shimmer. It is also more opaque on the nail.
