After a week of red and pink nails, I decided to switch things up with a little bit of nature. I love the leaf vein stamping image from Born Pretty Store’s BP-L015 plate. It looks great with leafy colours but also just as a regular image in neutral colours. This one looks just as good with black and silver as more natural leafy colours. The BP-L015 plate also includes some smaller images for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and mini flowers and leaves.
Products used in this leaf vein look:
- CND Creative Play base coat
- Avon Gel Finish Envy
- Mundo de Unas Forest stamping polish
- Seche Vite top coat
- Born Pretty Store BP-L015 stamping plate
- Born Pretty Store XL Clear Marshmallow stamper
I love that the leaf veins from BP-L015 are not completely smooth as it makes the look a bit more realistic, even if Envy isn’t a leafy green and the veins would be greener. I have a different plate where the veins are too symmetrical and it always looks a little wrong on the nail. This is one of the earlier rectangle plates from Born Pretty but one I just got so watch for more stamping images from it soon!
The marshmallow stamper was one I got for 99c during Born Pretty’s Black Friday sale. I usually prefer flatter topped stampers and this one is like a dome but it has become my new favourite. It picks up images so well, has just the right amount of squish and no issues with the curve of my nails. I wish it came with a cap but you can’t have everything right?
Both BP-L015 and the stamper are available to buy direct from Born Pretty. Don’t forget to use coupon code HNEX31 to save 10% on your purchase. Links to buy everything in this post can be found in the list above.
Ooh, pretty! I love the shimmery teal and that’s such a neat design 🙂
