The second of the new shades in the Avon Gel Finish release later this month is a beautiful medium grey, Head in Clouds. Not too light or dark, grey doesn’t scream summer for me but this just works. For a paler colour, the polish is surprisingly opaque. Not quite a one coater but fully opaque in two coats and no bald spots. Dry time is good and it makes a nice base for stamping if white is too much for you. Swatches are shown with two coats of Avon Gel Finish Head In Clouds with Alter Ego She Shines top coat.
Avon’s Gel Finish line rarely disappoints me. They are high shine, opaque polishes and come in a great variety of colours. The Gel Finish formula is three free and includes a strengthener for long lasting vivid colour with a gel like shine – no curing lamp needed.

I find many colours look muted in shade but I actually love Avon’s Gel Finish in the shade. Grey just works without the added light. Shown here with two coats and top coat both stamped and before stamping.

Can You Stamp With Avon Gel Finish Head In Clouds
Head In Clouds stamps surprisingly well for a lighter polish. While I would not wear it as a one coater, it was opaque enough to show really well over black. It is on the lighter end of grey so doesn’t show as clearly over white but if you are going for a muted look, it does stamp over white.
Avon’s Gel Finish Head In Clouds will be available in a few weeks from your local independent Avon representative or from avon.ca
