If you are not aware, Avon Canada recently teamed up with Tealish, a Toronto tea company to bring loose tea to Avon customers. The latest collection is perfect for summer with teas ideal for making iced tea. I already reviewed Fairy Dust and Citrus Grove, now for the final of the trio, Tealish Lavender Mint Iced Tea Blend.
Tealish Lavender Mint Iced Tea Ingredients & Steeping Instructions
Ingredients: Green tea peppermint, lavender, spearmint, lemon verbena, flavouring and rose petals
Steeping Instructions: Use 3 teaspoons with 6oz boiling water. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Add 1 tsp honey (or other sweetener). Pour over glass of ice and garnish with fruit & citrus.
Tealish Lavender Mint Iced Tea Review
Lavender Mint does have a stronger flavour than Fairy Dust and Citrus Grove when brewed per instructions. That being said, it could still benefit from some added loose tea to make a stronger concentrate before adding to ice. It does have a nice mix of lavender and mint with neither being too overpowerful. I like that they used a mix of spearmint and peppermint as it gives a lighter and more balanced flavour. I tend to go more fruit than mint for iced teas though so likely but repurchasing this one.
