The warmer weather means more iced tea and less hot tea. Tealish have released a set of iced teas available in 35g bags through Avon. it can be hard to know what will work for a great iced tea, especially if you don’t drink a lot of hot teas so having both ingredients perfect for iced tea and steeping instructions for iced is great. I will be reviewing the three teas available through Avon, but just because of the name, I am starting with Tealish Fairy Dust!
Tealish Fairy Dust Iced Tea Ingredients & Steeping Instructions
Ingredients: Green rooibos, rooibos, honeybush tea, strawberry, apple, elderflower, flavouring, rose petals.
Steeping Instructions: Use 3 teaspoons with 6oz boiling water. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Add 1 tsp honey (or other sweetener). Pour over glass of ice and garnish with fruit.
Tealish Fairy Dust Iced Tea Review
I was really excited for Tealish Fairy Dust. Strawberry Kiwi is one of my favourite summer flavours but this tasted more of rooibos and less fruit. There was a fruity sweetness but it left me wanting a little more flavour. I usually use 2-3 Perfect Spoons from DavidsTea for a 16oz glass so maybe I just need to add more tea. It definitely needs the recommended sweetener too. Honey helped bring out the fruit flavour. It was surprising to see that despite the strawberry-kiwi flavour, Tealish Fairy Dust lists no kiwi so likely the majority of the flavouring mentioned.
