I recently received a package of goodies from the Born Pretty Store and Customs finally released all of the orders I made in October-November (Xmas in February nails anyone?) so expect lots of cute and affordable nail looks using them soon. The first one I have to share is these cute BPY03 geometric water decals.
The BPY03 decals come with three different patterns. The red, turquoise and black triangle version I am sharing today and a mixed set of wave and triangle colour blocks to come later this week.
Each set includes enough for a full manicure using each of the design types. So for the current sale price of $0.99 you get get two full manicures or forty accent nails. They are $2.99 if full price in which case, you can use my coupon code HNEX31 to save 10% on these or other non-sale items.
The instructions on these are clearer than many water decals but you do also need to remove the film from them before dropping into the water. While I often use tweezers for decals, I found these ones to be very thin. This is great for a clean look on the nail but I also pierced the film with the tweezers so recommend using your fingers for the BPY03 decals.
Born Pretty Store BPY03 Water Decal Swatches
Overall a really cute look and much cleaner lines than if you trued reverse stamping and colouring in the lines. The base colour for the decals is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On with Wet n Wild Black Creme on other nails.
Make sure to check back later this week to see my manicure using the other design included in the BPY03 water decals! You can buy them direct from the Born Pretty Store here if you want to recreate this manicure. Shipping is free but Customs does seem to hold onto packages for a long time, so expect a longer shipping time than shown.
