Smoosh Stamped Manicure with CDN Vinylux Flirtation Collection

CND Vinylux Flirtation Smoosh Mani Swatch

Do you remember the CND Vinylux polishes I got with my #CNDRescueKit?  I was sorting my recent polishes and just had to use these again so decided on a smoosh mani using all four of the CND Vinylux Flirtation collection polishes.  While pretty, I like something more so added some stamping using a similar blue to Date Night.

Polishes/Tools Used:

  • CND Vinylux Be Demure (pink)
  • CND Vinylux Date Night (blue)
  • CND Vinylux Desert Poppy (coral red)
  • CND Vinylux Lavender Lace (lavender)
  • Mundo de Unas Joy stamping polish
  • Pueen Nature Lover 02 stamping plate
  • Born Pretty clear stamper
  • CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat

I love the effect of just the four polishes using the smoosh/stamper marbling technique.  Since I was trying out some of my new Mundo de Unas stamping polishes, I thought Joy, which is a similar blue to Date Night would look great with it.

I stamped on a single image from the Pueen Nature Lover 02 plate over my smoosh mani using Joy, at a slightly different place on each nail.  The Born Pretty clear large stamper is pretty decent but doesn’t have a lot of give so I had issues with the curve of my nail on several nails.  The image didn’t transfer well on the sides, but looks crisp and works great for the most part.

It is a fussy stamper as far as polishes though, I find it does not work well with anything with shimmer like a gold or silver.  Plus you can see a faint image left behind on the stamp head.  It needs to be cleaned regularly, not just using a lint roller to remove excess polish.

I loved this design, the colours from the four CND Flirtation collection blended so well together in the smoosh manicure and while Joy is a bit deeper than date night looks great over it.

  1. I love the colours!! Such a shame about the clear stamper. I recently got two different ones and I find one to be super easy going while the other is just hard to work with.
