Hello lovely Tea & Nail Polish readers, Sarah from Workaday Beauty here. Eithne was looking for some guest posters, and we both share a love of nail polish (and tea), so I thought I’d send a simple nail art look to help her out.
It’s almost summer lately here in BC, and that has me reaching for bright fun colours. I decided to do a classic style look with some bright shades.
I started with 2 coats of Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy in Dealer’s Choice on all fingers except my ring finger. This is a bright turquoise with subtle silver shimmer.
See the silver in the macro? So pretty. Just a word of warning though, this polish stains. When I removed it, my nails were rather greenish.
I used 2 coats of China Glaze in Dune Our Thing on my ring finger.
To bring this from plain to subtle nail art, I used a dotting tool to add dots in a triangle pattern on 3 nails, using the opposite nail polish.
I really love how colourful this look is. It’s bright and cheerful, and perfect for warm weather. The nail art component is simple enough that almost anyone can do it.
I want to thank Eithne for letting me share my nail art on her blog today, and I hope all you regular readers enjoy it.

I love both colors and love what you did with them. 🙂
The colour combo looks so good! It’s a shame the Revlon is a stainer.
