If you are not familiar with the Breast Cancer Awareness Box, it is organized by Turtle Tootsie Polishes. Chrissy, the owner, is a breast cancer survivor and created the box to give back to Breast Cancer Research. The 2020 box includes 20 polishes as well as a few other items including a soap, wax melts and more. You can buy the entire box, a polish only box or buy the items individually. A portion of each sale will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The box is available today at noon until September 13th from Turtle Tootsie Polish’s shop and they will act as a pre-order with polishes from all makers shipping together.

Armored with this chrome finish pink, Alter Ego chose to mirror the shiny satin look of the pink ribbons. Armor On Ready to fight is a light pink and close up, you can see the silvery chrome. It is completely opaque in two coats, even with a very visible nail line. It has a slightly cooler look to the pink even without the chrome which makes it wearable on most skin tones.

Like most chromes, Alter Ego Armor On, Ready to Fight can suffer from brush strokes but leveled out ok with top coat. Be sure the first coat is dry to minimize dragging it with the second for the best application. Then float the top coat for a shiny brush stroke free finish.
