The final shade of the Joy & Polish spring/summer collection is Get In Lime. Since Greenery is the colour of the year, one had to be bright green and this doesn’t disappoint. It has a gor
The collection also includes Pink About It, Oh Yeah Kale!, Orange You Glad and Just Blue-tiful. They all have the same beautiful glowy finish and are available on Etsy or find Stephanie at local Makers Markets. Joy & Polish is Waterloo based so you can usually find her at events west of Toronto.
Get In Lime has a gorgeous golden metallic-pearlescent finish to give it that perfect Greenery look. Bright and summery it will have you dreaming of the brighter days ahead.
As with most fairly opaque metallic polishes, Get In Lime stamps well and shows over both white and black base colours. The bright colour shows better than some of the others in the collection.
Joy & Polish Get In Lime Swatches
Get In Lime has a fairly thick formula. It suffers less from brush strokes than some in the collection, but like most metallics allow decent dry time between layers to limit it. This also helps stop any bare patches from the brush pulling the first coat.
You can see a little visible nail line here, but it is not visible to the naked eye. It may be also due to my Seche Vite top coat which tends to pull polishes at the tips.
Interested to see how the two greens compare? I tried them both as a gradient with more Oh Kale Yeah! on my pointer and more Get In Lime on my baby finger. Expect to see them both feature in St Patrick’s Day nails!
Buy Joy & Polish Co Orange Get In Lime or check her out at Hamilton’s Craftadian show on April 8th.
Love that gradient you did with the 2 shades. Yes perfect St Patty’s day mani!
