Starting off with Winter to my Wonderland from Paint it Pretty Polish’s Metallic Holiday Collection. No surprise that blue was my favourite but it also has gorgeous silver sparks that make it really pretty and cool on the nail. It is a very shimmery metallic blue, perfect for winter themed manicures. But do watch it at the cuticle as while it does not stain, the shimmer sticks.
Paint It Pretty Polish Winter to my Wonderland Swatches
Winter to my Wonderland by Paint it Pretty requires two coats for full opacity. The shimmery finish helps cover any brush strokes. The silvery sparks are sparse but enough to make the blue tone even cooler. Wear time is good. Polish often chips on me after two days but I wore this as part of a mani with the other four polishes from the Metallic Holiday collection for four days with minimal tip wear.
Stamped with My Indie Polish Liquid Chrome using Born Pretty Store BP-L056 stamping plate. It just screamed for some snowflakes on a blue background so I went with silver to match the sparks in the base colour.
Paint It Pretty Polish Winter to my Wonderland Stamping Test
Winter to my Wonderland seemed fairly opaque in one coat so I tried it as a stamping polish. The silver shimmer in the polish means it doesn’t stamp as well as you would think but it is not advertised as a stamping polish either so not a huge deal. It shows better over black than white if you are trying.
