Perhaps the most unique polish from Paint it Pretty Polish’s metallic winter collection, Ginger to my Bread is a ginger-gold metallic with a gorgeous pink shift. It does show some brush strokes but levels easily for full opacity in two coats. A glossy top coat helps hide the brush strokes too. This is not a colour I would usually reach for but it looks really nice on.
Paint it Pretty Polish Ginger to my Bread Swatches
Shown with two coats of Paint it Pretty Polish Ginger to my Bread. Topped with glossy top coat. Wear time is good. I wore a skittles mani using all five of the polishes from the metallic holiday collection for 4 days (usually I get tip-wear in 2).
Matte Swatch of Ginger to my Bread by Paint it Pretty Polish
I had to add a little stamping. Using back stamping polish and Born Pretty Celebration BPX-L008 stamping plate. Then topped with some more My Indie Polish My Perfect Matte top coat.
Ginger to my Bread Stamping Test
The metallic collection by Paint it Pretty Polish is not advertised as a stamping polish but I always like to try ones that seem to have decent opacity. Ginger to my Bread shows ok over black but is not super opaque. It is a bit too light to work over white or other lighter colours.
