It is the end of the week of Avon and I am sharing the Mark. Mod collection and some matching nails. The collection channels Mod London with a black and white graphic print and the spicy scent of nutmeg mixed with florals. Plus a bright pop of colour with the Mod Pop eyeshadow palette. Part of Avon’s holiday offerings, the Mod collection is limited edition and available now. The packaging is meant to attract a bit of a younger audience but I liked it enough to do nails inspired by it.
Mark. MOD Fragrance Review
Eau de Parfum Spray $38 (limited edition)
The rounded cap on the Mark. Mod Eau de Parfum Spray is a bit strange but it is a nice sized bottle. I don’t get much nutmeg from the scent. It is definitely spicier than just a floral but not necessarily nutmeg. You get 50ml for $38 which is a bit pricy for this scent in my opinion but watch the campaigns for a special offer. I was not a fan when first sprayed but it settles for better notes after a few minutes and lasts a few hours.
Mark. MOD Body Lotion Review
Lotion $14 (limited edition)
The lotion has the same scent but is creamier thanks to the lotion base and that just seems to work for the Mod scent. The lotion is decent and something Avon seems to do well. Often free with perfume type lotions are not very moisturizing but Avon and Mark. tend to do a good job of lotions. It deepens the Mod scent when used in combination with the fragrance and lasts longer. The current campaign has them sold separately but I have heard this comes in a set with the fragrance so ask your local rep!
Mark. MOD Pop Eyeshadow Review
Eyeshadow Palette $25 (limited edition)
Not really my kind of colours, but if you like brights, it has a good mix. It doesn’t go very deep if you prefer a smokey eye unless you go black. The Mod Pop palette has a mix of mattes and shimmers and can be applied wet or dry. They are not super pigmented and have some fallout. So use a good eyeshadow base. They apply best wet for full colour pay off.

Mark. Mod Inspired Nail Art
Inspired by the graphic geometric print, I did my nails to match. Using Chill Zone Coconut Cream Tart as a base and Hit the Bottle Drop Red Gorgeous on my ring finger. Stamped with Born Pretty BP-L050 stamping plate using Mundo de Unas Black. I changed up the stamping design on each nail as none were the exact same as the packaging. I thought I had red tape but it is missing (probably in Daisy’s hidden stash place) so went with a red accent nail rather than striping tape.
