China Glaze Happily Never After (Halloween 2017)

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017

It is nice to see a Halloween collection that is not the typical black, greys, and oranges!  The China Glaze Happily Never After collection is available in Sally’s now.  If you happen to be visiting the US, it is also in Ulta.  I know I will be visiting Sally’s to pick up Life’s Grimm and Crown for Whatever!  I love that they mixed up the finishes and colours in this so they can be worn anytime and don’t scream Halloween even if some of the names are Halloween Puns.  Anyway, onto the polishes!

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween 2017 Collection

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017 - Crown For Whatever

Crown For Whatever from the China Glaze Happily Never After collection is a matte blurple.  Naturally matte.  Actually, they rarely work for me as top coat makes them shiny or too matte looking and they don’t last without top coat on my nails.  But MATTE BLURPLE.

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017 - Life's Grimm

Life’s Grimm from the China Glaze Happily Never After collection is a black-gold shimmer.  Like a knight in shining armour waiting to protect your nails from boring bare-ness.

Now onto the ones I will likely not get unless I get distracted by a mini set.

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017 - Queen Please

Queen, Please from the China Glaze Happily Never After collection is a iridescent pearl shimmer.  Not very Halloween’ish unless you want to make ghosts but seemingly not very opaque to do so over anything dark.  Might look cute if you stamp a darker colour over it though!

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017 - Do You Boo

Do You, Boo from the China Glaze Happily Never After collection is a chunky gold flecked black.  I am staying away from glitter these days in an effort to limit the amount of acetone on my horrible nails, so a pass from me but I love the look.

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017 - Lookin Gore-geous

Looking Gore-geous from the China Glaze Happily Never After collection is a dark burgandy-purple creme.  Usually I would love a shade like this but I feel like everyone had a similar shade of purple recently.

China Glaze Happily Never After Halloween Fall 2017 - Sin-derella

Last, but not least, Sin-derella from the China Glaze Happily Never After collection is a iridescent pink-gray shimmer.  I am torn on this one as I have a similar shade I love but saw a swatch of this where it does not show the colours promised.  But the lighting etc were not your typical swatcher photos so waiting to see more before making a decision.
