Although I am excited to check out some of the new to me Etsy makers at the Hamilton show, I wish I could make it to the Mississauga Etsy Made In Canada Show too.  Not only is Beyond The Nail there to fuel my nail polish addiction but Holly Berry Body too.  And you know I love everything HollyBerry.  Her bathbombs, manicure bombs (which she made for me) makeup and skincare is all amazing!  I can’t make it to both, but if you are going, here are my top picks.

Beauty Picks at the Mississauga Etsy Made In Canada  Show

HollyBerry Bath Bombs at Mississauga Etsy Made In Canada

Obviously HollyBerry and Beyond The Nail would be my first stops.  Usually to slather on some of Holly Berry’s Milk Chocolate lotion.  I love that stuff.  I need a mini to keep in my purse!  Maddy and Krystyn have amazing nail polishes.  Don’t think that handmade means they are chalky like some, the quality is amazing! But there are some other picks too.  Ellingwood Soap Co makes amazing natural body and skincare products.  You need to try their scrub.  It is lotion based so not as abrasive and holds together in the shower.

New to me but on my to try list are Momtaz Soaps because Charcoal, Honey and Peppermint sounds perfect for my skin.  And The Cocoa Butter Shop because ChocoMint Foot Butter sounds amazing.  You see a minty theme here?  Forget pumpkin spice, I am right into winter scents!

Grae Lynn & Co at Mississauga Etsy Made In Canada Show

A special mention to Grae Lynn and Co because I have several things on my wishlist.  This Pilates? Oh I thought you said pies & lattes is perfect for fall and my latte tea pictures.  She also has several tea themed prints and mugs along with some crazy cat lady stuff.  So yeah, tea and cats, all over that!

Jewelry at the Mississauga Etsy Made In Canada Show

Dream Willow studio at Mississauga Etsy Made In Canada

My first stop for jewelry would be Dream Willow Studio.  I have a couple of items from Iva already from previous shows.  She has cute items that are great for gifts (or to keep) and affordable.  PolinessUp Close and Personal has both jewelry and jewelry making tutorials if you are looking for a DIY craft for the holidays.  While has an eclectic shop with a mix ranging from tribal to boho to hippie to modern inspired pieces.

Carols Daughter Infinity Scarf Mississauga Etsy

Also on my list are an infinity scarf from Carol’s Daughter. This warm weather doesn’t fool me, I know sweater weather then winter are not too far away.  Cards from Shop Alley Cards because cats.  Plus DZayan Illustrations because I have wanted a new logo/layout for the blog for a while but three images later, not in love but her style suits me.

The Mississauga Etsy  Made In Canada Show is tomorrow, September 23rd from 10am.  Check them out at the First United Church, 151 Lakeshore Road West.  Tickets are just $3 and the first 50 people get a swag bag!

  1. There is one of these in my local area and I really want to check it out!!

    1. Go! I love featuring local makers. They don’t have the budget to get big features, it keeps $$ in your area and hardly anyone blogs about them so you get high ranking on searches for them. I know quite a few of them now and they will drop stuff off for me so I don’t pay shipping etc because I blogged them after buying it.
