I tend not to buy from online stores. I am very much a hands on instant gratification person. Plus I hate waiting for shipping so while I have heard of Yves Rocher, and bought some skincare from them in the past, they were not my go to. I didn’t have a negative opinion of them, they were just not my first thought when purchasing. But Yves Rocher recently opened a store in the mall near me so it seemed like a great time to try them out and I have to say, I am impressed with the items they selected for me.
Review: Yves Rocher Pur Bluet Gentle Makeup Remover for Sensitive Eyes
I have been loyal to my makeup remover for quite a while, I use a combination of Marcelle makeup remover for my eyes and then Bioderma Sebium which helps with the oils from my makeup remover as well as the rest of my makeup. Yves Rocher Pur Bluet eye makeup remover for sensitive eyes manages to remove even waterproof makeup with no oily residue or scrubbing. I am sold on this formula. And I have really put it to the test lately too. The warmer weather means I have switched to exclusively waterpoof mascara. I simply hold a pad of Yves Rocher Pur Bluet eye makeup remover on my eye for a few seconds and wipe away. A second swipe gets rid of any raccoon eye and done. Plus, it is made with cornflowers and you know how much I love cornflowers!

Yves Rocher Grand Rouge L’Elixir in Powdery Mauve Matte (shade 104 / code 19725) is a combination between a highly concentrated lip care extract and pigment-saturated color. The Grand Rouge L’Elixir formula enriched with regenerating Camellia Oil to provide softness and comfort to lips. It also promises ultra-pigmented with a matte color for up to 12 hours.
The colour is beautiful and really suits my skin tone. It dries quickly to a comfortable satin matte formula. No drying which is great, but it doesn’t last anywhere near 12 hours for me. That being said, most mattes do not so I didn’t expect it to last that long. I got 3-4 hours wear before I reapplied after eating.
Review & Swatches: Yves Rocher Lifeproof Eyeshadow Stick in Taupe
Taupe Lifeproof Eyeshadow stick from Yves Rocher is a skinny pencil shadow is a shimmering taupe. The formula blends well but you need to add a few swipes to get decent opacity. Taupe is one of their Ombre Collection so you can easily mix and match. The retractable pen style keeps the shadow sharpened and the formula easily lasts all day. It needed the second swipe of Bluet remover to remove the shadow so really sticks. Even on a hot day when my foundation melted off, and my black liner had creased and faded, this was still looking the same as when applied. Definitely good for a night out or when active.
