Ever After Fruit Loops Cuticle Crelly and Cuticle Oil Pen Review

With my boyfriend out of commission, I have been doing all of the housework, carrying his walker and heavy bags of cat litter etc up and down the stairs.  It has taken a toll on my nails as has the lack of sleep and other stuff going on in my life.  So I recently got a bunch of products to try and care for my nails better.  A few blogger swaps, Indie Expo Canada purchases/press samples and more.  So expect lots of nail care posts in the coming weeks.  I am starting with one I have wanted to try for ages, Ever After Cuticle Crelly and Cuticle Oil.  Even better, I managed to snag their Fruit Loops scent!

Ever After Fruit Loops Cuticle Crelly and Cuticle Oil  are both great, but let’s start with their Crelly as oils tend to be fairly similar in results for me.   My hands are the driest part of me.  My cuticles are always dry even with constant oil and hand cream.  I wash my hands a lot so a barrier type cream is useful for me.

Fruit Loops scent is a sweet and delectable delight of juicy orange, ripe berries, tangerine and sugared vanilla.  I don’t remember the last time I had Froot Loops so it was an excuse to buy a box (which he promptly ate).  The Cuticle Crelly and Oil really do smell like Froot Loops cereal!  For some reason, I did not expect it to be so orange based.  Not sure what I thought they would smell like though.

Ever After Fruit Loops Cuticle Crelly Ingredients

Crelly from Ever After is a miracle for dry skin.  A moisturizing mash-up of cream and jelly, their Crelly is designed to provide moisture and nourish skin.  Vitamin E creams usually work fairly well for me.  They just agree with my skin.  So no surprise that I love Crelly and will definitely be buying some more.  Acetone Additive too, because I want my Acetone to smell like oranges and vanilla!

The ever After Crelly formula is really nice.  It is lighter than you would think from the thicker formula.   I can turn the tub upside down and there is no movement from the Crelly, but it works in nicely.   I have seen other reviews with a thinner formula, so might be that mine is older.

Crelly absorbs easily leaving no greasy shine, so great for using between swatches or at work.  It is also only $5 US for 2oz.  Quite a generous size when many cuticle creams are 15-20mls (under 1oz) for the same price or more.

Fruit Loops Cuticle Oil from Ever After comes in a 8ml pen style format for $5US.  They have a smaller pen too.  The scent of the oil is stronger than the Crelly but wears off more quickly.  The oil absorbs quickly and my cuticles have been looking better in the week or so I have been using it.

You really have to push the lid down on the 8ml pen.  It has a habit of popping off in my purse so I have lost some oil already.  Now it just sits on my desk where it is less likely to bang against things.
