A beautiful cool pastel Parisian blue for those hot days! Essie Blue La La from the Summer 2017 collection was one of my faves when I first saw this collection. I do love a good blue and in the bottle, it was close to the blue toned Mint Candy Apple. A touch less minty green on the nail but if you missed it, Blue La La is worth picking up. I probably have other blues in my collection close to it though.
Just the right amount of pastel. Not too pale that it looks chalky. Still pale but enough colour that it is opaque as a two-coater too. It has a fairly opaque formula for essie, but not thick. It does have some issues self-levelling so make sure the first coat is dry before applying the second.

It feels like this has become my go to stamping image lately. I like the criss-cross look of it and it stamps so well every time. I always forget how oily MdU Navy is though, it needs a good shake to get full opacity. Such a cooling look on a hot day. I might redo it at some point and colour some of the lines in with a similar blue foil or glitter polish.
