I was introduced to a new brand at Indie Expo Canada. Superficially Colorful is based in Israel so did not vend in person but sent her pretties to the show. Stealing Your Thunder was Superficially Colorful’s exclusive for the expo. A slightly muted medium purple with a gentle holo shimmer. I didn’t get the VIP bag to get this at Indie Expo but she was nice enough to send me a bottle along with some other goodies to try out. So watch for more Superficially Colorful reviews coming soon!

Natural sunlight brings out the beautiful shimmer in Superficially Colorful Stealing Your Thunder
In shade, the purple in Superficially Colorful Stealing Your Thunder shows darker and the shimmer a pale silver
The polish has decent opacity. It was opaque in two coats and covers any visible nail line. Dry time was decent and by the time I took photos in various lighting, it as dry enough to stamp over without smudging. As with most polishes, the holo shimmer is more noticeable in sunlight where the purple also has a more pink hue. The shimmer is quite muted in all lighting though. A nice change from full holo or plain cremes which have been the norm lately. Removal was easy with no scrubbing required.

I am a huge fan of purples so no surprise that I loved this shade. Superficially Colorful ships from Israel and is not available from US or Canadian Stockists. Shipping is reasonable, for the three polishes to my cart at $10 each and shipping came to $6.50. I am guessing US Dollars but have not made an order to check. Shipping to US and Canada is through registered mail so includes tracking, but expect to sign for your package. You can buy Superficially Colorful polishes, soaps, bath products and more here.
