Avon Skin So Soft Firm & Restore

Avon Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Review

Avon Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Review

A girl can never have too many moisturizing products, especially in summer when you show a little (or lot) more skin.  When the newest releases from Avon’s Skin So Soft range landed in my mailbox, I was excited to see Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream along with a DD Body Cream.  After several bad sunburns throughout my life (pale skin problems) my chest is a problem issue for me.  The freckles in summer make it look even worse so despite having several moisturizers on the go, I tried these right away.

Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream

Avon Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream with SPF15 Review

Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream SPF 15 $16

Since the Avon Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream was the one I was most interested in, I will start with that.  It is a medium texture cream in a pump bottle.  The cream includes babassu oil and caffeine to restore moisture and help correct visible signs of aging to give you a more radiant appearance.  Sounds good right? It really is!  Just one use of the Skin So Soft Firm & Restore Neck & Chest Treatment Cream and my skin looked less bumpy and felt really moisturized.  The light slightly floral scent is nice and not overpowering.  It seemed to have a cooling effect which I originally thought was a bit strange and maybe I was just hot but it turns out that it is actually a benefit of the babassu oil.  Even better on a hot summer day!

Skin So Soft Firm & Restore DD Body Cream

Avon Skin So Soft Firm & Restore DD Body Cream with SPF15 Review

Skin So Soft Firm & Restore DD Body Cream SPF 15 $16

The Avon Skin So Soft Firm & Restore DD Body Cream with SPF15 is good and I would certainly use it in place of my usual body lotions but it was not as special as the Firm & Restore Neck & Chest cream.  Perhaps because it is not a problem area for me too.  Like the other products in the line, it has a light green floral scent (think spring).  The white cream promises 9 benefits in one including firming the look of skin, evening skin tone and texture, improving elasticity and 24 hour moisture.  It lives up to the claims as much as any single lotion can.  I mean, I don’t expect miracles from skin care.

The addition of SPF15 to the Skin So Soft Firm and Restore line is nice as there are some areas you don’t always think to apply sunscreen.  The line also includes a Body Lotion and a Perfecting Body Oil and are suitable for all skintypes.  Although if you are really oily, you may want to skip the oil.  While I didn’t try these, I did try another of the oils this month.

Avon Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Triple Phase Body Oil

Avon Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Triple Phase Body Oil Review

Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Triple Phase Body Oil $22

While it isn’t clear in my photo, the Skin So Soft Supreme Nourishment Triple Phase Body Oil is made up from three different layers that you shake together before applying.  The top layer is slightly yellow in colour and nourishes with essential oils.  The middle layer is more clear and is formulated to seal in moisture while the pink bottom layer gives a boost of instant hydration.

I find many body oils just leave me looking greasy, but the Nourishment Triple Phase Body Oil did absorb well.  It includes argan, babassu and macadamia oil are meant to last all day. Since I was reapplying the Firm & Restore Body Cream with SPF it is hard to say if it alone lasted all day but the combination worked great.
