Hi there, allow me to introduce myself, my name’s Rachel and I write a blog called That Flour Child. I write about baking, DIYs and of course beauty. I have been invited by Eithne to write a guest post for you all and have split up my recent haul from Bluebird Tea Co. between here and my blog. To see the rest of what I ordered you will have to head on over to www.thatflourchild.com!
Bluebird Tea Co is based in the UK and they hand blend their teas to ship worldwide. I found their shipping costs quite reasonable and will definitely be ordering again. They have recently blown up in popularity due to mentions in various Zoella videos and other social media. If you wish to know more, be sure to head over to their Twitter or website and I’ll get on with the haul.
Bluebird Tea Co. Maple Bacon Pancakes
Intrigued entirely by the name, I couldn’t skip out on Maple Bacon Pancakes. This is a rooibos tea, with Chinese pu’erh tea, Ceylon black tea and contains cinnamon, chipotle chilli, vanilla and almond. Clearly this doesn’t taste like bacon which I think is a relief, but the cinnamon adds a perfect breakfast feel.
Bluebird Tea Co. Pineapple Mint
Next up was one of their featured teas at the time I ordered.
This is Pineapple Mint, it has dried apple, hibiscus, rosehip, dried coconut, pineapple pieces, lemongrass, peppermint and spearmint. I love mint teas and I love pineapple so I figured I needed to give this one a try. It smells exactly how it sounds and is an interesting twist on a classic peppermint tea.
Bluebird Tea Co. Candy Floss
The next one also got me with pure curiosity.
With promises to transport you to a carnival, I had to add Candy Floss to my cart. It’s a Chinese white tea with hibiscus, apple, elderberry, rosehip, pineapple, sprinkles, cornflowers and strawberries. It doesn’t smell as sweet as I was expecting, but is still delicious and would make a great iced tea.
To check out the rest of the haul head on over to That Flour Child, where I share Zoella’s favourite tea, Easter Egg Nests, along with Strawberry Lemonade and Classic Peppermint. Feel free to follow me on Instagram and Twitter: @rmahxo on both. Thanks so much for having me Eithne! And I hope you all enjoyed my haul.
The candy floss tea sounds quite interesting – I think it would be one of those flavors that would either be a huge hit or a real miss. I agree with you though – probably one I would have iced too.
The breakfast bacon one sounds really yum!
