When Sarah from Workaday Beauty posted a swatch of Steel City Reflections’ Winifred Sanderson, I had to have it. Not only is Steel City Reflections local, but blue and green holo is beautiful.
Steel City Reflections made The Sanderson Sisters based on the Hocus Pocus movie. I have had them for a while but only just got around to posting about them. Expect swatches of Mary and Sarah Sanderson some time in the future (so many nail polishes and I never want to take them off).
In some light, the teal base on Winifred Sanderson shows much darker, but I wanted to show you the emerald holo goodness in this beautiful polish. Depending on light, you get a greener base that while not showing the holo as clearly, looks absolutely beautiful with the bigger hex glitter in the polish.
Like many holo polishes, this needs a few coats for full opacity and extra holo/hex goodness. It is shown here with just two coats, but I have worn it since with three. Dry time is great despite the three coats. Removal is fairly easy and while the hex glitter needed a little scrubbing, it removed fairly easily with regular polish remover.
Note: sorry about the tipwear, lighting sucked this week and I ended up retaking photos at the end of day 2. These photos were obviously taken before I started reshaping my nails and now I want square tips again but that chip in the side is why I started rounding them.
