As I mentioned recently, Bioderma has two discovery kits available at the moment that I have been mixing and matching to suit my skincare needs. While many multi-mask, I multi cleanse, tone and moisturize! Like the Flawless Skin Discovery Kit, the Bioderma Hydration Discovery Kit has three generous sample size products to help you decide if the Bioderma range is right for you.
Bioderma Hydration Discovery Kit – What’s In The Box?
Once you open the box, you will find three Bioderma products with step by step instructions on using them. The Bioderma Hydration Discovery Kit includes both Sensibio and Hydrabio productions. You get a 100ml bottle of Sensiobio H20 and Hydrabio serum and moisturizing cream.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution
Sensiobio H20 micelle solution is a best seller for Bioderma and it is no surprise why. I have used this for quite a while. Long before the discovery kits made an appearance in drug stores. This is the only Sensibio product in the Hydration kit, but is made for sensitive skin and suits all skin types. While I have been using the Sebium micelle on my T-zone and it is slightly more matte, I was happy with the way Sensibio cleansed before.
With full makeup, I need 3-4 cotton pads of Sensiobio to remove makeup and cleanse the skin. In the morning, one pad is enough to cleanse after a shower to remove any remnants of night cream that may be blocking pores. It does have a hard time with waterproof mascara, but most products do. This rinse free formula is perfect for travel too.
Bioderma Hydrabio Serum
Bioderma Hydrabio Serum is a moisturizing concentrate is made for sensitive and dehydrated skin. This concentrated product gives your skin a blast of hydration and retrains the skin to moisturize itself. While I have an oily t-zone, my cheeks get really dry so I have been using this in combination with the Sebium products to target areas as needed.
This stuff really is a miracle worker for me. It promises 57% immediate hydration. Not sure how you measure 57% hydration, but in just 3 days, my skin looks plumper, softer and pores and liners are less visible. I will definitely be using my included $5 coupon on a bottle of this hydrating serum.
Bioderma Hydrabio Légère
The final step is Bioderma Hydrabio Légère moisturizing light cream. This is suitable for sensitive skin and does a great job of moisturizing without being too heavy. This Bioderma cream is meant to teach the skin to activate its natural moisturising capacities by stimulating the production of water channels in the skin and retain the water it needs to be balanced so helps you stay moisturized. This was the smallest of the samples, just 5ml so has not lasted as long as the others but my skin already feels much softer using it.
If you have oily or combination skin, check out the Bioderma Flawless Skin Discovery Set.
I haven’t seen these kits in the stores near me. Actually, I’m pretty sure one of them split the kits apart and are selling the individual pieces, which seems wrong. I haven’t really tried anything from this brand before, but they sound really nice.
Mine sells the minis too, in a special display rack so they definitely sent individual minis to stores too.
