As always, Paint it Pretty excels with blue polishes. Her polish of the month is Water of the Sea. It is inspired by Aqaumarine, March’s birthstone and is a light blue base filled with shifting flakes and holo microflakes. This one really glows on the nail and is just beautiful. I had so many compliments while wearing it.
Paint it Pretty Polish Water of the Sea Swatches
Look at that gorgeous glow where the light hits it. It does have a more sheer base so three coats needed of this. I do have a pretty strong visible nail line though so perhaps two thicker coats would work for most? The flakie distribution was even and the formula built well. It leans slightly more teal in natural lighting than my cooler photo lights.
Shifting flakie goodness! The flakes and glitter are a mix of a medium to dark blue with the smaller blue glitter and then even smaller silvery shifting glitter. It might have a pinch of holo in there too as I picked up various colours in the light.
