This week, we chose fall nails as our #CBBxManiMonday prompt. It is a little early to be doing full fall nails so I decided to go a little lighter with Beyond The Nail Cherry Beach as my base. Cherry Beach was a VIP bag polish from Indie Expo Canada this year and one of those perfect neutrals for me. It has a slightly peachy nude base that is completely opaque in 2 coats with just the right amount of light coppery flakes.
I went with Mundo de Unas Chocolate for my stamping polish and used five different stamping images from
- Pueen Nature Lover 02 stamping plate (thumb, ring and baby finger leaves)
- Born Pretty BPL-024 (pointer finger leaves)
- Born Pretty BP-L015 (tree on middle finger)
Why does Born Pretty switch around the placement of the L on their plate names? Makes it so much harder to find swatches of the images.
Look at the pretty glitter flakies in Beyond the Nail Cherry Beach. Makes wearing a nude type polish so much more enjoyable.
It is #CBBxManiMonday so pop over to see how Cosmetic Proof, Prairie Beauty Love and See the World in Pink did with this challenge.
I’m really feeling these neutral muted tones lately – I almost went with something very similar for my base! Pretty!
