The newest brand ambassador for Mark. by Avon has been announced and Lucy Hale is sharing her fave wearable look with just four products from Mark. Flip the script on a smoky eye with dramatic sweeps of wine shadow and a lavender highlight on the brow bones. Finish with a nude lip and brown eyeliner or that perfect look. The new revamped Mark. collection certainly impresses and I will be sharing more in the coming days/weeks but starting with Lucy Hale’s top picks:
Eye Contact Hook Up Eyeshadow in Smoke & Mirrors – Lucy Hale Pick
The Mark. Eye Contact Hook Up Eyeshadow palette in Smoke and Mirrors is a mix of wearable and work appropriate shades that can build for a smoking hot look. These blendable shades actually lasted on my lids, with primer of course. They do have some fallout, especially with the darker shades in the middle row so do your foundation after your eyes! Use the three middle shades to get the same smoky wine eye as Lucy Hale. Add more punch to the colours by applying them with a wet brush as some are quite sheer.
The new Mark. palettes have magnets in the bottom so they stick together and don’t bash around against each other in your makeup bag – perfect for travelling.
Mark. Cheek Magnet Hook Up Blush in Mauve Forward – Lucy Hale Pick
I usually go for pinker blushes but am in love with this rosey mauve blush compact. Like the Mark. Hookup Eyeshadow, the Mark. Cheek Magnet Hook Up Blush in Mauve Forward connects to the other palettes so I can throw it in my travel makeup bag and it gets bashed around less. The beautiful pinky mauve colour would work for most skintones and is surprisingly pigmented. As a pale girl a very light swipe is all I need. It isn’t going to make me look like Lucy Hale but I do love the colour.
Mark. Dusk Til Dawn Waterproof Eyeliner – Lucy Hale Pick
I probably should have started with the Mark. Dusk til Dawn Eyeliner. This waterproof eyeliner in Daybreak, a lovely chocolatey brown is AMAZING. I mean, as bloggers, we get to try a lot of makeup but I will seriously be buying the other shades this comes in. The other shades are Blackout – true black, Nightfall – inky blue/navy, Insomnia – purple and Aurora a stunning green. I mean, they make me want to wear coloured eyeliner!
These apply smoothly, last all day and have great pigmentation. They only downside I have found to them is that they are a little soft and I keep it in the fridge so it doesn’t break as easily.
Mark. All Butter Now Lip Treat in Bare All – Lucy Hale Pick
One of those my lips but better shades that you don’t think you will love but end up wearing a lot. The new Mark. All Butter Now Lip Treat in Bare All is meant to increase your lip moisture while giving a dose of colour that lasts. It has a slightly sweet scent, probably from the shea, cocoa and mango seed butters used to moisturize your lips. The colour really does look like the one Lucy Hale is wearing. Fairly sheer, it feels like you are just wearing lip balm but the slightly beige colour just seems to work well with my natural (pale) lip colour without looking too zombie-ish.
I have a lot more to share from the Mark. collection but these picks by Lucy Hale are definitely good ones to try if you are new to the Mark. range. As always, contact your independent Avon representative to order. If you only try one, get the eyeliners, they are crazy good.
