Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Lotion Cleanser Review #GarnierSensitive

Garnier Makeup Removing Cleansing Lotion 2

I am a huge fan of Garnier lotion so jumped at the chance to try the new Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Cleanser for sensitive skin.

eyemakeupAfter a long day, I am lazy and will admit to occasionally not taking my makeup off, or doing a half-hearted attempt and waking up to raccoon eyes the next morning (never a good look) but I am not willing to give up the whole eye makeup look for my laziness either.  The whole makeup remover, cleanser, toner, moisturizing routine is a lot of work when you are tired!

The Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Cleansing Lotion Claims:

In 1 use: Skin feels comfortable and conditioned and thoroughly cleansed.

After 1 week: Skin feels smoother and softer and looks healthier.

Dermatologist tested • Ophthalmologist tested • Allergy Tested • Suitable for sensitive skin

Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Cleansing Lotion has is a quick-break lotion that releases the powerful cleansing agents to dissolve impurities and waterproof mascara while plant extracts and Moringa seed stop your skin from drying out.  This is not a normal makeup remover or cleanser.  It seems like a fairly thick lotion and should be applied to dry skin (although I have used it in the shower and it still works great).  You can remove it with cotton pads or water.

At first I thought that there was residue left on my skin after just using a cotton pad, but even after rinsing, my skin felt really soft.

As you can see, a lot of makeup wiped off with the first cotton pad I used to remove my makeup and a second pad was needed.  I then used makeup remover to check I got it all, including my brown waterproof mascara – can someone tell me how that stuff needs to be scrubbed off usually but I can wake up with raccoon eyes? The pad came off clean which is more than I can say for the one used after my regular (non makeup removing cleanser) which makes my skin feel super clean but is no match for my waterproof mascara:

As you can see, the cleanser had removed a lot of makeup and is not as dirty as the ones used to remove Garnier Clean+ Makeup Removing Cleanser but certainly needs makeup remover used with it to get rid of all traces of makeup. I also used a 3-in-1 makeup removing/cleaning wipe and had about the same amount of makeup left.

After using it for almost a week, my skin is definitely softer and when I feel lazy, I can skip the whole toner/moisturizer routine and just rub this into my skin and wipe off.  It is great for keeping at work for makeup touch-ups or fresh makeup after leaving without needing to splash water all over myself using those tiny sinks.

While my skin is not super sensitive, I had no issues with Garnier Clean+, it has no fragrance, alcohol or dyes and seems light on the skin, so if you do have issues with regular products, give it a try!

  13. I have been reading really good reviews about this product. I have sensitive skin so I am definitely going to be trying this out.

  14. It’s great to get rid of “hard to get rid of” makeup.I would love try this as it seems to be gentle on the skin

  15. I actually use it and have no complaints; its works well and my sensitive skin feels good afterwards.

  16. I really need to try this. Getting all my makeup off is so important!

  17. Oh WOW! I cannot believe the difference the cleanser made to really remove everything! VERY impressive!

  18. I like that it’s fragrance free. Too many of the products I have tried have an overwhelming scent.

  19. I am extremely allergic to fragrances and have super sensitive skin so I like that this one is scent free and for sensitive skin. I would need to check the ingredients to make sure that there is no lavender anything included in the ingredients (a very common ingredient in products made for sensitive skin) as I’m very allergic to lavender. If no lavender is present, I would probably purchase this and check it out.
