Ever want to refresh your makeup bag for a new season but are not sure where to start? Avon will now sell curated boxes with the basics for a new themed look. They currently have a skincare box available but I tried out the Fall Trends Divine Wine collection. The box sells for $49 but they had a special offer if you spent $40 or more in the last ebrouchure so you can certainly pick them up for less. You get five full size products for a complete look in the Divine Wine box. So with fall weather and sweater weather approaching, what was in the ABox?
Avon Divine Wine Fall Trends ABox – True Color Lipstick in Vamp
Darker shades tend to make me look even paler so I usually avoid dark purples and plums despite them being popular every fall. But Avon True Color lipstick in Vamp really suits me for some reason. It is not as dark as it looks in the bullet and for some reason, lasts ages on me. I have a major issue with most bullet lipsticks fading on my lips in 2 hours or less so it was nice not to reapply constantly. It does need a liner as it sunk into the lines around my lips but most do so I always use a liner. A shade I would not have tried without the Divine Wine ABox so I am glad I did.
Avon Divine Wine Fall Trends ABox – True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Romantic Mauves
Purples are meant to make the green in my eyes pop but I usually end up looking like I have a black eye so nice to see that they did not go too dark on the shades in the Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Romantic Mauves. Shade 4 does have some glitter and accompanying fallout but I am liking shades numbered 1-3. Swatches are below!
Avon Divine Wine Fall Trends ABox – True Color Glimmerstick in Sugar Plum
I have quite the collection of Avon Glimmersticks. I love the formula on them and they have great colour payoff at a decent price. Sugar Plum is no different. If you are like me and want the purple shade to set off your eyes, start with this. It is enough mixed with a neutral eyeshadow to make my eye colour pop. I do keep them in the fridge though as they are soft and break easily in the warm weather.

Avon Divine Wine Fall Trends ABox – Big Daring Volume Mascara in Black
I already own Avon Big Daring mascara and love the way it makes my lashes look for a more affordable mascara. It has a large brush that is bigger on one side so you can use the other side of the curve for smaller or bottom lashes. The formula does take a bit to dry so don’t blink and get it on your lids and wipe some of the excess off the brush as it holds a lot!
Avon Divine Wine Fall Trends ABox – Avon Trie Color Pro+ Nail Polish in Midnight Plum
This shade is very similar to Night Violet which I tried a while ago. No shimmer but a similar base colour. It is quite opaque on the first coat but I did a second to deepen the colour. It is quite shiny without top coat but chipped quickly without it.
So which is your fave item? I am not sure if this box is still available but there is a ProPicks one with skincare minis and makeup in the current brochure. Shop online through avon.ca or contact your local Avon representative to order.
