Just in time for Mother’s Day gifts, Avon recently released their newest Fragrance and first Parfum, Absolute. They describe it as pure as absolute love. An everlasting floral heart of orange blossom with sparkling bergamot and sensual woods.
Shown here with these beautiful floral LED candles from Avon Living (because cat whiskers and flames do not go well together) it looks so pretty and pink on my dresser. I am not usually that into pink but am loving these candles. They have a slight pink rather than plain yellow glow when lit and the AAA batteries seem to be lasting well in them.
Not quite the perfect shade, but my nails matched the bottle the day I received Avon Absolute. I think that made me like it more. This parfum meticulously crafted with fragrance oils in their highest concentration for a luxurious scent that’s truly long lasting. I sometimes find that fragrances that are not from the big fragrance makers do not have staying power. This is certainly not true of Avon Absolute. It does settle down quickly but you get a beautiful floral smell well into the day.
The scent reminds me of walking past a flower shop in summer. A mix of all of the different flowers mingling together on a warm day. Just scenting the air. It has a slight vanilla creaminess to the scent that makes it wearable at the same time. Sweet yet sophisticated. I have to admit that it surprised me for Avon. You would think it came from one of the bigger perfume companies and more expensive than the $35 (regular price) price tag.
For Avon’s first parfum, they outdid themselves with Absolute Today – Tomorrow – Always.
