Good Girl Bad Girl was a strange release from Essence, this collection features two sets of polishes with the same name. Hello Sweetheart is available as both a metallic polish and effect coat while Once I Was An Angel is available in snake effect polish and an effect coat.
Essence Good Girl Bad Girl in Hello Sweetheart
Hello Sweetheart is available in both a lilac metallic polish and a gold and pink bar flake effect coat.
While you can see the light lilac tinge to the polish in this picture, in some light, Hello Sweetheart Metallic polish looks silver. The purple is best seen in shade while bright light makes it look more silver. On different toned skin, the purple tone may be more obvious. Hello Sweetheart goes on well with few obvious brush strokes, definitely a plus for a cheaper metallic polish and dries well. The wear time was not great, I removed it the next day due to chipping.
Hello Sweetheart effect topcoat is an almost clear polish with old and pink toned bar glitter. The polish has a slight pink tone that is barely noticeable on top of most polishes, but will make white look pinker. It looks best over very light or dark polishes and is a little chunky, so you will probably want to use a regular top coat over to smooth over the nail. It is difficult to apply near the tips, with pieces of the bar glitter sticking up, you may want to file your nail after applying to remove pieces sticking over the nail and then cap the tip of your nail with polish or top coat again.
This rose gold polish is fairly concentrated with glitter, shown above over Essence I’m Lost In You from the Nudes collection and The Gel Black is Back. These polishes, as with all Essence products, are available at Shoppers Drug Mart for under $5 each.
