Demeter Foolproof Blending With Sunshine & Clean Skin

Demeter has a huge Fragrance Library and they can be combined to make delicious custom scents.  They realize that the choices can be overwhelming for a first time blender so have Foolproof Blending Duos and Trios available.  Each one is curated to allow you to blend and layer any combination without worrying about a scent mistake you have to shower off before leaving the house.

What Is Included In A Demeter Fragrance Foolproof Blending Duo?

Included in the Foolproof Blending Duo kits is an empty bottle to mix your scents, a small funnel and little droppers so you can measure out the perfect amount of each one for your custom blend.  I received Sunshine and Clean Skin in my foolproof blending duo.

• Clean Skin: What’s sexier than clean, post bubble-bath skin? A blend of orange, lemon, white rose, bergamot peach and vanilla, make for the perfect shower-fresh scent. Clean Skin by Demeter is a virtually transparent and delicate fragrance. Smells like the best version of you – just better.
• Sunshine: Think of your favorite, most comfortable cotton T-Shirt left outside and warmed by the sun.

I started with a 50/50 mix then added more of each until I fell in love with the scent.  For me this meant a little more sunshine than clean skin to make my Summer Skin scent, but you can see what works for you.

When mixing them, you do have to lift the funnel slightly to allow the scent to drain into the bottle and the droppers are small so be careful if you try pouring one of the singular Demeter scents as perfume spills can stain.

Once you have perfected your blend, put the spray lid back on your custom bottle, give it a couple of pumps to fill and you are good to go.  You can use a permanent marker to label your custom bottle.  The scents can remove marker if not completely dry, so mix your scent first, wipe down the bottle if you spilled any and then label.  You will still have lots of the original scents left to wear alone or mix with other scents.

A while back, I reviewed several Demeter scents and while I loved Lemon Meringue and Espresso, they overpowered Paperback if sprayed directly on the skin so these custom foolproof blending sets with a bottle are great as you can mix the perfect amount of each and spray as little or as much as you like of your perfected scent.
