How is it Polish Pickup time already? This month, animation was chosen as the theme which means lots of old school cartoons. Cynthia chose WWIILLMMAA as her polish, It is a white creme polish that glows orangey in the dark and is inspired by The Flintstones. White for Wilma’s dress and pearls and orange for her hair.

I don’t know about you, but as a kid, Saturday morning cartoons were accompanied by a bowl of cereal while my mum got stuff done. The Indie Pickup option for this month is Loopy Fruits acetone additive. So you can have a little cereal with your polish. Personally, I never got fun cereals except on my birthday but Corn Flakes acetone additive wouldn’t smell as fun.

WWIILLMMAA is a white creme when not glowing in the dark. It was pretty opaque in two coats but I did add a third for photos as my strong visible nail line shows under my lights. It may have been ok with two but my coats were on the thinner side.

White polish can be finicky and streaky, so I thought I would include a photo of a single coat to give you an idea of the coverage. I use pretty thin coats so the coverage is reasonable but not a one coat wonder. As you can see, it does have a natural matte finish. I added top coat to mine but it did seem to dull the orange in the glow a little and lean more yellow.

This one is a little blurry but I am including it to show the more orange glow to the polish. It does learn more yellow after time and I found that it was more orange when naturally charged in the sun and whiter/light yellow if I used a UV light to charge it. The glow lasts a reasonable amount of time too which is always nice as some fade quickly.

The bottle had been out in the sun for about an hour and maybe five minutes for my nails. The bottle was glowing very brightly.

Note: my bottle is a mini as Cynthia had a shortage of bottles when sending to reviewers but only full size bottles will be available through Polish Pickup.

Cynthia uses Vitamin E rather than Jojoba Oil for her acetone additive. That is great if you have a sensitivity but it also really thick and I find it works better for me personally than some Jojoba ones (not all). I find the thickness of the additive means it goes a little further than some too and is perfect for the typical 12oz bottles available.

The Loopy Fruits acetone additive smells just like the cereal it is inspired by. Sweet, citrus and a mealy-ness to the cereal note behind the sugar.
