I am expecting a lot of blue from the Winter is Coming theme for December’s Polish Pickup. Paint it Pretty Polish Festival of Lights is a gorgeous light to medium blue with iridescent colour-shifting flakies and pink shimmer. It has a beautiful glow to it and will make an amazing base for wintery nail art.
Sherri was inspired by Niagara Falls. If you live on our side of Toronto, a trip to Niagara in the freezing weather is almost a requirement. I end up taking visitors there pretty much every year and we sometimes do a weekend getaway to the Falls too. It sounds like it is a regular trip for Sherri and her family too as she says “Winter doesn’t come until you’ve visited the Festival of Lights in the Falls.”

This manages to pick up all of the colours of the falls. The sunsets over the water. The cool blues of winter. You can’t go to the Falls and not be inspired by the power of the water, especially when it is half frozen and still manages to produce power (bonus fact: our use of hydroelectricity from our many waterfalls is why we call electricity hydro in Ontario).
Polish Pickup is early this month. Starting on Monday 2nd so you have time to get Black Friday shopping out of the way. - Coats required: 3 coats for full opacity with my strong visible nail line, may be ok with two.
- Dry time: Good
- Wear time: Good. I wore it for three days before removing to try another polish but no tip wear or chips.
