Paint it Pretty Polish has a gorgeous blue perfect for the cooler months. Paint it Pretty Polish I Am The Only One Of My Kind is inspired by Hope Mikaelson from Legacies. It is a blue base with turquoise shimmers, gold glitter and bronze and gold flakies.
If you are not familiar with Polish Pickup, each month they choose a theme and indie brands make a polish inspired by the theme. They are available from the Polish Pickup website on the first weekend of the month only. It acts as a pre-order, with makers sending the required amount then them being shipped out. Shown with three coats of Paint it Pretty Polish I am the Only One of my Kind and Seche Vite top coat. It looked ok with two coats, but I could see some visible nail line under bright lighting so added a third. Dry time was decent even with a third coat. It does have slightly chunkier glitter/flakies that will move still wet polish so best to let each coat dry fairly well before the next.
I am the Only One of my Kind by Paint it Pretty Polish is also a little top coat heavy. Not terrible, but if you use a thinner top coat, you will feel some texture. The above was taken after adding the third coat but before Seche Vite on the nail towards the top of the photo. You can see the glitters sticking up a little at the centre compared to the nail below it that was top coated. (all other photos shown with top coat on all nails)
Paint it Pretty Polish I am the Only One of my Kind is quite light dependent. You will see a darker blue or more shimmery turquoise depending on skin tone and lighting conditions. Some of the glitter seems more holo than gold but it might just be the back side of the glitter pieces.
