BeautyLash Sensitive Lash and Brow Tinting Kit Review

My mum ever let me pluck my brows into oblivion as a teen so I am lucky to have a decent amount of brow left in my 30s.  They are naturally fairly dark and thick and need constant waxing/plucking.  But I still get random light hairs in them and my lashes are lighter at the tips.  So when I got the chance to try out Beauty Lash’s at home tinting kit, I was both excited and terrified of blinding myself.

BeautyLash Sensitive Lash and Brow Tinting Kit Review - Tint and Developer

You get Colour Gel and Developer gel in the Beauty Lash Tinting kit.  I went with dark brown as I feel that despite having naturally almost black brows, black product can seem a little harsh when used.

BeautyLash Sensitive Lash and Brow Tinting Kit Review - Tools

The Beauty Lash Tinting Kit also comes with the tools you need to tint your brows and lashes.  You get a brush to apply the colour creme and a little wand to apply the developer.  The eye protectors were useless for me.  They say to apply them using moisturizer and would probably be fine if you were lying down with someone else applying but kept popping off my face.  So I went with my regular under eye patches instead.

Instructions in case you need them and lose yours. It is a good idea to keep them safe as you get multiple uses out of each kit.

My Experience with Beauty Lash Tinting Kit for Lashes & Brows

Beauty Lash Tinting Kit - Before Use

They don’t show well in my photo but there are some lighter hairs in my brows.  My lashes look fairly short but in fairness, are not brushed/curled here.  Just their natural after washing my face state.

I was originally scared putting on the Beauty Lash colour gel but it doesn’t sting at all an seems fairly safe.  But the developer is another story.  I ended up wiping it off my bottom lashes early as it got into my eyes.  So maybe just apply to the tips of your lashes.

Beauty Lash Tinting Kit - After Use

I scrubbed it thinking that it was just leftover product but you can see where it almost tinted my skin at the tail of my brow.  The few lighter brow hairs matched my brows well even using dark brown (which appeared black to me).

For my lashes, it did make them a bit darker and longer looking.  This is before curling/mascara but they did seem a little lifted from the tinting process.  It didn’t last as a lift, but doesn’t promise lifting either.

Overall, it did the job but I think I would only use it on my brows in the future and get a lash tint in a salon.  Since I removed it early, it didn’t have the full effect and I still needed mascara.  The colour I did get lasted about a month though while the staining under my brow was gone in a few days.  It looked like brow product though and not stained so I almost wish it lasted longer.

I would love this for my lashes

  2. I have been a bit scared or trying the st home tints myself but you make it seem easy that I think I may give it a try.

    1. It is slightly terrifying, especially when the developer got my waterline. But just bubbled on the tears, no real pain or anything. I would definitely use for my brows but maybe still get my lashes done
