Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Review and Swatches

Revlon has always impressed me with the quality of their lip products for a drugstore brand and the new Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint is no exception. Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint is inspired by the K Beauty trend of popsicle lips. They are meant to give you a juicy wash of buildable colour, leaving lips appearing fuller, more supple and protect them from dryness.

Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tints are available in ten shades.  Each features the pillowy soft cushion tip that feels luxurious on the lips and makes application a breeze.  The shade “swatches” on Revlon’s website does not do the colours justice, so check them out in store for realistic colour choices.

Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Formula Review - Pretty Kiss

When you buy the new Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tints, they do not have formula at the tip.  The tube colours are pretty close to the shade of lip tint.  You need to twist the top piece with the Revlon logo 15-20 times to get product to come up.  You don’t want too much, it is meant to be a wash of colour.  But you can build it with more product for a more coverage.

The formula is super comfortable to wear.  A few swipes got full colour payoff similar to a lipstick but it felt more like wearing a lip balm.  It does settle a little and some colours stain more than others.  High End Coral left a little orange around the edges of my lips and benefits more from a liner than the others.

They have a warm vanilla scent, not overpowering, but there.  I received three of the Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint colours and will definitely be buying more.  Chocolate Pop and Naughty Mauve are on my to try list.

Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint - Swatches of High End Coral - Pretty Kiss - Extra Violet

I went for three very different shades to test the Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tints.

  • High End Coral leans more orange than true coral.  It does bleed a little so a liner helps with this shade.
  • Pretty Kiss, a my lips but better type nude when you build it for more coverage.  It had the best formula of the three I tried and lasts a little longer than the others too.
  • Extra Violet which is a little patchy compared to the others but fine with a few coats.  It can go from berry-violet to dark purple pretty quickly though so don’t use too much product at once.

You can find Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint at Shoppers Drug Mart and more.  They retail for $13.49 at Shoppers but have been on sale for 9.99 for a while.
