Another blue from the Paint it Pretty Polish Holographic Collection. I Dream in Teal leans more blue on me than a true teal. Looking at the item page, it does lean more green on them, but definitely a lighter than the darker teal many of us would think.
Paint it Pretty Polish I Dream in Teal has a similar formula to Everything Is Better Purple. Not quite as thick as Midnight Sparkle making it easier to work with. Shown with three coats as it needed an extra one under my lights. Under normal conditions, two coats would probably be fine unless you like thin coats. It dries quickly and was fine to do the second coat once I had finished painting the first.
With a lighter base, the linear holo is not quite as strong as with the last two I shared. Still very noticeable, but the base just doesn’t make it pop as much. As with the others, go for a glossy top coat as I Dream In Teal dries semi matte. It will make the holo pop better.
Paint it Pretty Polish I Dream In Teal Swatches
As with many blues, I Dream In Teal might be a stainer. You can see a little in my cuticle even after wiping a few times with 100% acetone. So make sure to use a good base coat. I only had it on to swatch so don’t know if it would stain worn for a few days, would wouldn’t risk it.
