Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm Review

Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm is an interesting product.  Meant to be an all in one product for soothing, reviving and moisturizing lips, skin, nails and cuticles.  You can even use it to tame and eyebrows or make your lashes look longer!  It is petroleum based with pomegranate oil which has three times as many antioxidants as red wine and green tea.

Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm Review Canada

Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm used as a nail and cuticle cream:  It is very thick so a little goes a long way.  If my hands are really dry, I use it all over.  It not only moisturizes but acts as a barrier cream to protect your cuticles too.  At just 25mls for $5-7 Canadian, it is a little on the expensive side.  But as a multi-use formula and purse size tube, works well for me.  Plus, you only need a small amount compared to other hand creams which brings the per use cost down.

Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm used as a lip balm: The thick formula does well as a lip balm if you do not want to apply colour over it.  It can make dry lips feel and look better in a day, but lipstick just doesn’t stick to it.  Best used as an overnight intensive balm.

Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm Reviews

The Purple Tree Pomegranate Miracle Balm formula is quite greasy when first applied.  It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin greasy but you do have to wait a few minutes before doing anything.  It does a great job of soothing and moisturizing so worth the wait time.  You can apply a smaller amount to save on time too.

It does have a strong pomegranate scent.  I like fruity scents but if you are going to be in a scent free environment, something to be aware of.  It is only scented from the Pomegranate Seed Oil and not actually fragrance but most people will not know that.

Purple Tree is vegan friendly, cruelty free, plus paraben and sulfate free.  It is a UK brand and imported to Canada.  You can also pick up Purple Tree Miracle Balms in Papaya, Aloe Vera, Coconut and Shea Butter.  Buy direct from FarleyCo Beauty or Miracle Balm is also available at select Rexall Pharmaplus, London Drugs, Pharmasave, Lawtons, and Overwaitea stores.

  1. This is the perfect balm to be using now that the colder weather is here. I’d apply it to my lips and leave on overnight as you suggested.
