Deciem The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Review

This is probably the product I am most religious about applying, even when I have no makeup on.  My eyes tend to look quite hollow and dark. Wearing glasses just magnifies this.  So any help I can get, I will take.  I have tried a bunch of caffeine eye creams but some irritate my eyes.  Replacing dark circles with bumps and redness is not helping so I love that The Ordinary Caffeine Solution works for me.

You use this morning and night to help reduce the appearance of eye contour pigmentation and puffiness.  This doesn’t give a long term effect and does need to be used on an ongoing basis.  But you notice the difference in minutes after applying it.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Caffeine, Maltodextrin, Glycerin, Propanediol, Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside, Gallyl Glucoside, Hyaluronic Acid, Oxidized Glutathione, Melanin, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Urea, Pentylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Xanthan gum, Lactic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Propyl Gallate, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Ethoxydiglycol, Benzyl Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.

How To Apply The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG

I simply pat a drop under my eyes using my fingers.  It is a bit more gel like than many of the other The Ordinary products I have tried.  It absorbs quickly but can be tacky for about a minute.  I use this right after toning before any other products so it dries completely before I apply any makeup.  Literally one drop goes a long way.  So for under $7 for 30mls, this bottle lasts forever even using twice a day.

This is suitable for all skin types.  If you are blessed with no dark circles, it is still worth having a bottle for late night/early morning type days to give you a little pep and brighten up your eyes.
