Winter collections for skincare are always my favourite. So moisturizing and great scents for those who are not into fruity summery ones. Avon released a few new sets for the holidays and I tried out their Winter Lavender set. Rather than old lady lavender, they blended the lavender with bergamot and jasmine to make a soft and warming winter scent.
The Avon Winter Lavender gift set is $16 and includes full sized body wash, body butter and hand cream. The set also comes in Wintersoft and Winter Vanilla if you really don’t like lavender. The set comes in a gift box with the items individually wrapped in tissue paper too, so the perfect affordable skincare gift.
Avon Skin So Soft Winter Lavender Body Wash
The body wash in the Avon Skin So Soft Winter Lavender collection does have some shimmer. Something to consider if gifting. It didn’t leave me glittery but may not suit everyone. Personally, I love a little shimmer to brighten up my day. The body wash is a nice consistency, lathers well and not so thick it is gel like but not runny either. The scent is not long lasting, so good if you work in a scent free workplace.
It has some good cleaning power too, he uses it to remove black caulking after work. Impressive that it is gentle enough for my skin but cleans construction dirt so well!
Avon Skin So Soft Winter Lavender Body Butter & Hand Cream
The Avon Skin So Soft Winter Lavender body butter and hand cream have a more long lasting scent. Not overpowering, but it does linger, especially when combined with the body wash. Both have a nice formula and absorb well giving a nice dose of moisture. The body butter comes in a tub while the hand cream is a generous sized tube. Perfect for keeping on your desk for winter.
