Color Club Happy Go Lucky Mood Polish Swatches - Cold State

Color Club Happy Go Lucky Mood Polish doesn’t look too bad here.  My hand was in front of the AC so you see more of the peachy pink cool state but can be bright saffron yellow when really warm.  And my hands tend towards very warm so… Happy Go Lucky from the Color Club Pastel Mood Polish has no real formula issues but is the one I will probably never reach for from the collection again.  Why is it that I always want the cool state to be the primary?

The yellow reminds me of the more yellow cheese slices.  Not a colour I can pull off with my skin tone.  The transition point on Happy Go Lucky is quite low too so you rarely see the peachy color naturally on shorter tips.  If you get it really cold, it goes a little more pink than the peachy tone shown.  Like some of the others, the formula is a little chalky so needs a shiny top coat too.

I thought I would try and cover up a lot of that bright saffron yellow-orange with some stamping!  Using Mundo de Unas Brick and BP-L015 stamping plate, I stamped red floral designs over it.  Still super bright and I am not sure the red tone matches well. It only stayed on a couple of hours before I switched it out but the rest of the collection lasts ok so I am sure the wear time is likely good.
