Zoya Whispers Preview

I have been looking forward to the new releases of polishes.  While there are some outstanding shades in the winter/holiday collections, very few of them screamed buy the whole collection to me.  So when this picture of the new Zoya Whispers collection showed up in my inbox with pretty but everyday wearable shades, I was happy to see something I really want.

Most of you will know that I am not a big fan of collecting 100s of similar neutrals.  I have a few faves but prefer new colours over almost dupes.  I have a friend who only wears pale pink polish and even I can’t tell the difference between some of them.  The Zoya Whispers collection however will add some new tones to my neutrals with its paler but not chalky-pastel colours.

The Zoya Whispers Shades

Cala – A soft nude with a kiss of warmth that will flatter most skin tones.

April – A light, rosy toned neutral that is a modern take on blush.

Eastyn – A subtle grayed grape that is more interesting than mauve and gives a modern alternative that is ever so wearable.

Misty -An easy to wear taupe that is an updated version of gray with just a touch of green to make it daring.

Ireland – A uniquely wearable green that is muted enough to make it subtle yet still interesting. This green is well balanced between blue & yellow so it’s flattering on all skin tones.

Lake – A softened blue that gives the effect of serene water with just a hint of vibrancy to preserve its luminosity.

Zoya Whispers’ Lake just jumped out at me, I have a few favourite light blues but none are that holy grail blue and Zoya rarely disappoints.  I can see Eastyn being a go-to colour with its purple grapey tone and I need to add Misty and Ireland to my collection too.

Zoya Whispers Collection is available for pre-order on Zoya, but it will likely be a while before we see it at Nail Polish Canada or in local salons.
