As much as I love nail polish, I am always coming across brands I never knew had polish lines. I recently received a press release for Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites, four new nail polishes for the holidays. Since the store near me had closed down, they are not as visible, but it turns out that they still have stores but also sell in other stores. The festive favourites collection includes four C&E polishes perfect for holiday parties but also work appropriate!
The Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites collection includes four new shades will give you glamorously gorgeous nails all winter long. Perfect for any occasion, these elegant, rich coloured shades are also four free and so formulated without Toluene, Formaldehyde, Dibutyl phthalates and Camphor. Pick them up at a Crabtree & Evelyn store, in boutique locations selling C&E products or online for just $10 each. If buying online, they often have special offers too.
While they have a large lid, the brush is regular sized. The round brush spreads easily and none of them had mis-sized bristles giving an uneven application.
Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites: Orchid Nail Polish
Starting with purple, because you know I love my purples. Orchid is a beautiful rich purple that applies smoothly in two coats and dries fairly quickly. As you can see, it appears much brighter and a little lighter in direct sunlight/bright lighting.
As unique and elegant as the orchid flower, our creamy shade of Orchid is anything but a wall flower. No one puts Orchid in the corner.
Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites: Beautyberry Nail Polish
I am not always the biggest fan of pink nail polishes, but Beautyberry from the Festive Favourites collection is beautiful. A nice rich berry pink, this looks amazing with almost any outfit. Like all of the collection, this is fully opaque in two coats and dries quickly.
With a personality all its own, Beautyberry is the life of the party. Named after the berry color on the Beautyberry shrub, this fun and flirtatious cream shade can talk for hours.
Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites: Wine Nail Polish
On to the reds. The Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites collection includes two red nail polishes. Wine is the darker of the two and a nice universal red polish that would match any skin tone.
A full bodied shade of Bordeaux wine accented with purply hues make this cream nail lacquer the talk of the season.
Crabtree & Evelyn Festive Favourites: Cranberry Nail Polish
Crabtree & Evelyn’s Cranberry nail polish is brighter than Wine, but deep enough that it is still really wearable for those who do not usually wear red but want a party colour.
Cranberry is the seasons new Red. Less traditional, more sophisticated, this cream shade of Cranberry takes a walk on the cool side.
Overall, it is a beautiful collection and perfect for party season. They are not the shiniest of polishes and need a top coat to give you that stunning glam nail look (swatch sticks are shown without topcoat). While the collection does not have the biggest range of shades, Crabtree and Evelyn have other colours you could pair with these colours.
