As previously mentioned, the Essence Good Girl Bad Girl collection features two sets of polishes with the same name. Hello Sweetheart is available as both a metallic polish and effect coat while Once I Was An Angel is available in snake effect polish and an effect coat.
Essence Good Girl Bad Girl in Once I Was An Angel
Once I Was An Angel is a nice deep pink. I was not really sure what to make of the snake effect in this polish. It is barely noticeable when looking at the nail, it just looks like you have an air bubble issue in your polish.
Up close, you can see the snake effect more clearly, but how many people get that close to your nails? The pink is nice (coming from someone who does not like pink). Bright but not Barbie is the best way to describe it. Maybe the snake effect would work better on more snake like colours so you can make snake nail art but I am not a huge fan of it just looking bubbly.
The dry time is good, two coats and it was touch dry in minutes for me to take photos, but I was put off by the pink and did not wear it long enough to tell how long it wears.
The Good Girl Bad Girl Once I Was An Angel effect top cat is similar to that of Hello Sweetheart. It is a clear base with black and silver polish. Shown here over the pink Once I Was An Angel snake effect polish and Quo April Shower, I did not file down the glitter so you can see how obvious it is if not cut/filed off.
As with the Hello Sweetheart effect top coat, Once I Was An Angel is fairly concentrated and shown with two coats above. It dries quickly but you do need a regular to coat to even out the nail over the glitter.
