Avon Foot Works Ginger & White Tea Collection and Mont Bleu Foot File Review

Along with the Mont Bleu nail files I mentioned yesterday, I also got a foot file which is great since it is sandal season and my feet are always in need of a little TLC.  I treated myself to an at-home pedicure using the Mont Bleu hand made glass foot file / pedicure rasp and Avon Foot Works Ginger and White Tea collection.  Avon’s latest Foot Works collection includes a smoothing scrub, clay mask and nourishing cream lotion.  I mean it has white tea so you know I wanted to try it out!

Avon Foot Works Ginger & White Tea Collection and Mont Bleu Foot File - Review

The Mont Bleu Foot File and Pedicure Rasp does not feel as coarse as many of the files I have tried.  When I first received it, I thought it would be fine for my feet but useless on his calloused feet.  It does have decent weight to it which makes exfoliating your feet a little easier.  It is gentle on your feet and is easy to use; just scrub over the entire foot to remove dead skin. This glass pedicure file has two sides – extra coarse side to remove hard skin, and coarse side for massage and smooth skin finish.

If you are not familiar with Mont Bleu, they make high quality files and more using hardened Czech glass alloy that they etch using acid then harden.  This leaves them with a long lasting filing edge that is also almost unbreakable with normal use.  They stand behind their files so much, they offer a lifetime warranty on the etching.  You only have to buy a new one if you break it by dropping or misusing it.

Avon Foot Works Ginger & White Tea Scrub, Clay Mask & Nourishing Cream

Since I decided to do a full pedicure, I used all three of the new Avon Foot Works collection.  It is nourishing and is scented with clean white tea and warm ginger.

  • Start with Avon Foot Works Ginger & White Tea Smoothing Scrub to get rid of loose dead skin so the Mont Bleu Foot File can do it’s job better.
  • Follow with Avon Foot Works Ginger & White Tea Softening Clay Mask which has kaolin, a natural oil-absorbing clay. Enhanced with white tea and ginger root extracts, leaves feet feeling soft and easier to file.
  • Use your Mont Bleu pedicure rasp to remove all of the dead skin and any callouses.  Start with the rougher side then follow with the other side to smooth and polish the skin.
  • After all that filing, moisturize the new skin with Avon Foot Works Ginger & White Tea Nourishing Cream to keep is soft and less work next time.

  1. Great post will keep an eye out for this product in the future.

  2. I am so happy to see I can order Mer Bleu files on Amazon.ca. From your review of the foot file above, and of the nail files in your previous post, I have made my purchase since my regular glass file from Nail Tech broke.
