As soon as I saw Hololulu Blue sparkling under the lights, I knew it had to be mine. The Hit The Bottle/Beautometry table at Indie Expo Canada was high on my list to check out. I knew I wanted some of the Holo The Rainbow polishes from Hit The Bottle as good holo stamping polishes are hard to find in Canada. I picked up Hololulu Blue, Glint of Gold and Holo There Beautiful (silver) as well as a couple of non-holo stamping polishes so check back for swatches of those.
This is not black stamped over a holo polish! That beautiful blue holo is one layer of stamping and it is possibly the best holo stamping polish I have used. Because you can never get enough holo, Hit The Bottle Hololulu Blue is shown over Colors by Llarowe Can We Have Trudeau, a beautiful black holo polish. This was a limited edition available at Indie Expo Canada and I am so glad I picked it up. It is sparklier and brighter than my other black holo polishes.

The opacity of Hit The Bottle Hololulu blue is great. I have tried several holographic stamping polishes and they either are sheer but sparkle in the sun or have chunky glitter that gets stuck in stamping plates. I have found that this shows better in thicker lines than fine ones. But it is so beautiful, you want to show it off with a bolder pattern anyway. It does pick up from fine lines, just is more noticeable and shows the holographic effect better when more space allows it.

Shipping from Australia is expensive and they have some Customs regulations regarding polish so Hit The Bottle polishes are easier to buy from international stockists. Beautometry sells a very large selection including Hololulu Blue. Use coupon code SUMMER to save $5 off a purchase of $35 or more. Shipping is reasonable, about $8-9US to my Ontario address for 4 bottles. I have heard that Girly Bits will soon have them in stock for us Canadians. Why pay Customs when you can get another bottle instead?
