Born Pretty Starry Sky Stamper Review

Born Pretty Christmas Stamper Blue Green Sparkle Stamper with Scrapers - Starry Sky Stamper Review

I ordered the Starry Sky stamper as part of a Christmas set but it took forever to arrive after getting to Customs fairly quickly.  You can now order these with a regular metal holder as well as the cute Christmas themed ones but they perform the same so I thought I would still review it.

While there is no lid, the Starry Sky stamper does come in a plastic box that you can use to store your stamper.  This helps keep the stamper head clean of the fluff and other stuff that sticks to it.  While you can give it an occasional clean with acetone unlike many jelly stampers, you don’t want to go acetone crazy with it so keeping it clean (and safe from dings and nicks) is always a good idea.  The two scrapers slide down beside the stamper keeping them safely with your stamper so you don’t have to go looking for a spare gift card to use for scraping.

While you can choose from various coloured stamper heads, each has a shimmery finish.  So even if you decide to use a stamping polish in a similar shade, they show up over the shimmery colours.  It has as squishy silicone head.  If you previously tried the similar looking red stamper in the silver holder, it is the same size but the Born Pretty Starry Sky stamper head is slightly firmer and doesn’t push into the holder as easily.

While some colours clearly show better than others on the Born Pretty Starry Sky stamper, all of them were visible enough to place on the nail properly.  You can get other Starry Sky stampers with white shimmery silicone, black and gold, purple shimmer or a more blue shimmer to use all polishes in your stamping collection.

You can buy Born Pretty’s Starry Sky stamper here.  It is currently priced at $3.59 and includes two of the mini plastic scrapers.  If you do want the other colours, you can add them on for $6 to get a single handle and five stamper heads for under $10 US.  As always, you can use my promo code HNEX31 to save 10% when shopping direct from the Born Pretty Store online.
