KleanColor Rose Scented Double Stamped Heart Manicure

I recently posted a manicure with Pueen’s Fairytale Lover 02 plate and Quo by Orly’s Freshly Cut where Nichole from Bedlam Beauty requested I use the stamping image with the hearts.  Since this is the image that first lead me to discovering the Love Box 02 set after seeing it from NailStamp4Fun on youtube, I thought my mani should be inspired by hers too.

I didn’t go for an exact dupe of her mani but took inspiration from her double stamping the squiggles from the same plate as a base for the hearts.  Starting with the first pink polish out of my “never tried” drawer of polishes, I started with two coats of KleanColor Rose Scented polish.  It smells very floral and lasts at least a day.  Not sure that is necessarily a good thing, but at least it lives up to the promise.  Then prepped the nails for stamping with Ctrl+Alt+Del liquid latex because I hate cleaning up stamping.

I then stamped the squiggles over KleanColor Rose using MoYou London in White Knight to lighten up the pink before adding red over it for depth in the squiggles.  Nailstamp4fun used four layers of squiggles but over KleanColor Rose instead of her base of white, I felt two would be enough.

I stamped over it using my Born Pretty clear jelly stamper and Essence The Gel in Flame Fatale ensuring I could still see some of the base KleanColor Rose polish and that the red lines were not in the same position/direction as the white so they would both be visible.

Then using Born Pretty’s black stamping polish and my clear jelly stamper, stamped the negative space heart stamping image from Pueen’s Fairytale Lover 02 plate over the pink double stamping so the colours showed through the heart shaped spaces.  This stamping polish tends to bleed a little with top coat, so let it dry before adding top coat.  I used Pro-FX Supreme Gel as I find the brush does not drag as much as some others.
